I’ve been collecting books about art, culture and crafts since I was a teenager. Through these books I cultivated a love and appreciation for typography and the organization of visual communication. This inspired me to pursue a career in graphic design. I hope to one day publish my collection of knitting and sewing patterns for doll clothes. My degree in fashion design from FIDM has given me the technical knowledge of garment and pattern construction that I want to combine with my graphic design education. My passion for the design process in fashion, photography, graphic design and gardening is rooted in the delight I experience when developing creative solutions. As a professional, I want to create meaningful visual communication informed by an understanding of the people I am designing for.
